Do you have a kid who loves to sing? Westchester Youth Choirs, which meet in Mt. Kisco, offer the highest level of musical training for young singers. This gift certificate is good for $250, which is half off tuition. Your young performers can choose from the Westchester Girls, Young Women's or Boys Choruses. Westchester Girls Chorus is specifically designed for girls in grades 5-8 as they transition vocally and personally into teenagers (4th graders may audition for WGC if they have singing experience). It is an opportunity for girls who demonstrate musical ability and a desire for excellence to work together for musical performances and community service. Through the joy of music, girls find their own voices, encourage one another, and share their gifts for the common good.
WYWC is designed for high school girls who love to sing and have some experience in choral music. Singers will be challenged with more complex and challenging literature, including multi-voicings. Detailed attention will be given to breath support, resonance, and techniques related to specific styles of music. Repertoire will be drawn from chant to contemporary classics (including some lesser known works) as well as musical theater and pop.
WBC is designed for BOYS and YOUNG MEN (ages 8-18) who love to sing! Older boys will have the opportunity to MENTOR the younger ones and sing the more challenging parts of traditional choral music written for choirs of men and boys. Those with CHANGING VOICES will find their way through vocal exercises that help them navigate the changes. Singers will gain CONFIDENCE while they have fun learning together singing all kinds of repertoire.

Special Instructions
Tuiton credit is good for either the Fall 2015 or Spring 2016 semesters. Winner is responsible for remainder of tuition. Expires May 31, 2016.

PICK-UP: Item will be available for pick up at the Ossining Public Library (53 Croton Avenue) on Saturday, May 16th from 2:00pm-4:00pm and Wednesday, May 20th from 7:00-8:30 PM.
SHIPPING/HANDLING CHARGES: If this item is not picked up in person during the scheduled pick up hours at the Ossining Public library, the winning bidder will be required to pay additional shipping/handling charges of $5.00 based upon the item’s special handling requirements. Ossining MATTERS will not ship the item to the winning bidder until this shipping fee has been paid. Special handling charges may be reduced in the event of a multiple item purchase.
