Ossining MATTERS has created a Guidance Fund at OHS to assist with the overwhelming expenses associated with preparing for the challenges of college.

SAT Prep classes cost about $415; the average college-level course fee at OHS is $220; a college application can cost $100; and registration for the SAT is $49. These costs and others related to the college-level curriculum at the high school are an obstacle for many students, who are unable to meet this burden on their own.

With the Fund, the Guidance Department offers financial assistance for SUNY and SUPA course fees and AP exams. The Fund can also help students with the expenses of SAT review classes, college application fees, and ACT/SAT application fees.
