Tiramisu means "pick me up" or "lift me up" and is a popular coffee-flavored Italian dessert. It is made of ladyfinger dipped in espresso, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar, and mascarpone cheese, flavored with cocoa. Let me tell you there are as many different Tiramisu recipes as there are Italian grandmothers, each with their own little twist.
