Core Winery Hard Core Red  2006

Here’s a full-bodied, Rhône-style red that’s rustically tannic, yet is dry and balanced. It’s a good partner for food, and will pair nicely with everything from roasts and Mexican fare to burgers and beef stew. With a little Cabernet Sauvignon added for body, it shows dark berry, currant, semi-sweet dark chocolate, sage and mushu plum sauce flavors.

Dark Horse Chardonay 2013

Dark Horse Chardonnay has rich flavors of baked apple and pear, layered with toasted oak, notes of caramel and brown spice with a smooth, lingering finish. This Chardonnay underwent alcoholic fermentation with hand selected yeast and then a secondary malolactic fermentation to create a round, full mouthfeel.

The nose is graced with dried violets. The palate accented by notes of raspberry, blackberry and dried cherries followed by subtle licorice essence and a hint of oak. Supple tannins round out the Claret making it elegant and seductive, a wine that invites a second glass.
