A bit about the course from its website: Peacock Gap is blessed with a robust and colorful history since opening in 1960. William F. Bell began the design of Peacock Gap Golf Club in 1958 as the cornerstone for the Peacock Gap community. Mr. Bell designed more than 100 courses in his lifetime, including the North and South Courses at Torrey Pines and the Bermuda Dunes Country Club.

Peacock Gap has been home to a great many tournaments and players in its 50+ years. In 1965, US Open winner Billy Casper joined Peacock Gap as a touring professional. One year earlier, Peacock Gap was host to the Marin Invitational Tournament of Stars showcasing the talents of Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Kirk Douglas, and Dean Martin.

In recent years, Peacock Gap Golf Club has benefited from a comprehensive series of renovations to its course and its practice facility. These improvements have transformed Peacock Gap Golf Club into one of the most enjoyable year-round golf courses in the Bay Area.
