The kitchenette does not have an oven/stove, but it is equipped with a single burner, microwave, Foreman Grill, toaster, toaster oven, coffee pot, and barbecue. The cabin is a year-round vacation paradise only 6 miles from Red Lodge Mountain ski area. Summer visitors enjoy easy access to Yellowstone Park, which is only 60 miles away. The cabin is 2 miles from a great little town (Red Lodge) that
National Geographic lists as one of 10 emerging resort towns.  

 

The cabin is right on roaring Rock Creek, a great spot for fly-fishing. The town of Red Lodge is a historic mining community situated in the Beartooth Mountains. At 12,000+ feet, the range's Grizzly Peak is Montana's highest peak. Red Lodge has surprisingly sophisticated shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores -- a place called Babcock and Miles even carries Cowgirl Creamery cheeses and great supply of gourmet foods.  This is a wonderful, somewhat undiscovered place!
