Yankees legend and New York City native Whitey Ford was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1974, after an illustrious 16 year career spent entirely in the Bronx. A 10-time All-Star, and winner of the Cy Young Award and World Series MVP in in 1961, Whitey helped lead the Yankees to six World Series championships in the 50s and 60s. He still holds the record for most wins as a Yankee, and the highest winning percentage of all pitchers in modern history.
