Leslie Sokolow's first monograph, "OCEANA" is a collection of images that explore the power and beauty of the sea. The ocean is ubiquitous. It's eternal. We are the passing tides. We come and go. We sail it, we pollute it, and feed from it. It sustains all life, yet we never really see it. It's always looking at us.

The images were taken in Santa Monica, Venice California, East Hampton and Sagaponack New York.

This work has been exhibited at the Peter Fetterman Gallery in Santa Monica and The Bonnie Benrubi Gallery in New York City. These pieces are in many public collections including the Palm Springs Art Museum and the George Eastman House Permanent Collection.
