Artist Dorothee Rosen says the name given to these matchstick earrings, "Strike Anywhere", is a reference to the instuction that appears on matchbooks and boxes all over the English-speaking world and it's also meant to inspire the wearer to new heights of engagement and awareness. The red garnet signifies ignition.

The earrings are sterling silver with red garnet on a freehanging chain.
