Description

The Namako Tenmoku Happy Hour Set from Neko-Chan includes two cups, sake bottle, and a plate. Yakimono is a Japanese term for foods that are grilled, broiled or pan-fried.

Japanese ceramic artists, using techniques handed down through the centuries, create these unusual and uniquely Japanese pieces. A multi-process glazing gives a beautiful translucent finish to the deep blue, and a textured "volcanic rock" finish to the charcoal colored areas on each piece.

Neko-Chan "searches the planet to find and bring you the unusual, tools and gifts that enrich the spirit." Its catalog is brimming with everything from  the practical - incense, malas and books - to the unusual - pottery, textiles and cats! "A package from Neko-Chan should bring a smile to your face."

The company "will not knowingly deal in any items which are produced by 'sweatshops', prison labor, slave labor, child labor and has a policy of across-the-board boycotting of products from China to protest the Chinese take-over of Tibet."
