Asked to incorporate her writing into her metal work, Mary Jane Dodd created offering bowls. Morning Mantra is one of the first of these. The successful bidder will be able to put something in it, hold it in their hand, turning it round as they recite the intention, and allowing the metal to warm. "Your energy and mine combined, allowing your bowl to sing," says Mary Jane.

All bowls are slightly different in color as a result of the flame and quenching process. The torch fired patina is left intact for its rawness. Creation and forging of the bowl aside, there is almost a full hour of heartfelt letter setting invested in each piece. And each bowl arrives in a hand stitched pouch that serves as a small mat.
