Description
Join Diana Winston, Director of Mindfulness Education at UCLA's Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC) for a six week online class introducing Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs).
Practices including sitting, walking and movement meditations, cultivating positive emotions, and working with difficult thoughts and emotions. These practices develop greater mind-body awareness, promote well-being, and reduce stress. You will learn how to develop a daily practice and incorporate mindful awareness into your daily life.
This six-week course can be accessed from anywhere in the world and at any time during the six weeks. Participants work at their own pace with pre-recorded audio and video materials as well as take part in a weekly live chat with the instructor and other participants
MARC is UCLA's Center dedicated to fostering mindful awareness through education and research to promote well-being and a more compassionate society.
The successful bidder will have their choice of class dates in 2016.
