Sitting among the swirl of color and flowing lines, this buddha is the center of meditative energy. He calmly reflects on the perfection of life with, in this rendering, vivid colors and liquid grace.

Sofan Chan was born and spent her formative years in Hong Kong and studied advanced western painting techniques at the Fine Art Institute of Chicago before settling in Australia. Her paintings are filled with "vibrant, happy colours and flowing lines."
