Description

"No mud, no lotus" reads the engraving on the front of the pewter seal on this bracelet from The Barber's Daughters. The author is Thich Nhat Hanh.

Part of the Thich Nhat Hanh "being peace" seals collection, this seal is strung on a plum colored rope to symbolize and celebrate Plum Village. Each plum cord comes with a lobster claw-style clasp.

As founder and jewelry creator Gisele Theriault says "The Barber's Daughters create content jewelry- jewelry with meaning, message or purpose. Twenty percent of sales from the Thich Nhat Hanh Collection will be donated to the humanitarian efforts of Plum Village. The seals were created by The Barber's Daughters and are licensed by the United Buddhist Church. Engraving words of inspiration into semi and precious metals can be used as grounding agents or touch stones. In a world overrun by sensory overload, its easy to forget our 'whole' self. The inspiration of The Barber's Daughters is to provide tools for people to connect to their intangible beauty and strength. The inspiration is to create work that helps us shift our thinking from our head to our heart where we make better decisions."
