This Amitabha Buddha statue from Namse Bangdzo Bookstore is a stunning eight inches in height and crafted from copper with golden highlights. Shop manager Peter Durzen says he has been working with this particular statue maker for more than 20 years, this year's auction bidders have the good fortune of benefitting from this long and fruitful relationship. 

Namse Bangdzo is the bookstore of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, the North American seat of His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa. Karma Triyana Dharmachakra represents the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. The bookstore provides dharma students and practitioners with Buddhist books, texts and practice materials. Profits from sales support the Seventeenth Karmapa's projects and activities.
