The successful bidder for this item will receive Dakini as Art artist Leslie Nguyen Temple's fine art print of His Holiness the 17th Karmapa, age 12.

HH Karmapa added his seal and signature to the original of this print at Tsurphu in 1999.  Leslie is a thangka artist and member of the Dakini As Art Collective. She worked to create the giant applique thangkas for Tsurphu monastery in Tibet  between 1992 and 1997. Ever since then she has continued to develop traditional, environmental and contemporary silk applique art.  

With an eye toward the Dakini energy as the ineffable energy that infuses creativity in every moment, Dakini as Art focuses on artists whose art emerges from practice, inquiry and engagement in the open question of Dakini energy. Dakini As Art Online Art Gallery is an Art project of The Yogini Project. 

The Yogini Project is a multimedia platform to connect and inspire a global community of women practitioners and laypeople alike, with the aim of directly supporting the greater emergence of realized women in our time, through both revealing the many faces of their presence amongst us and financially supporting selected women dedicated to sustained spiritual practice.
