The successful bidder for this item will receive Dharma Eye collective Victoria Knobloch's "His Holiness the 17th Karmapa" photograph. 


In this photo of His Holiness taken in Bodhgaya, India, in 2015 the Second Arya Kshema Winter Dharma Gathering for nuns at Tergar Monastery is underway. The annual gathering brings together Karma Kagyu nuns in a program focused on advanced training in philosophy and debate.


Victoria Knobloch works both as a classical singer and a freelance photographer. She is part of the Dharma Eye photographer collective. With her photography she wants to welcome the viewer into the exploration of our complex existence with more awareness and therefore a spirit of discovery, astonishment and appreciation. She is always in search of tranquility, beauty and the little worlds of ordinary people. Next to that her work embraces the fields of spirituality and she especially is fascinated by Tibetan Buddhism; for subjects she traveled to Kathmandu, Nepal; Ladakh, India; and Tibet among others.
