Calling all book lovers! Artist Jane Mount will create an original painting with your favorite books as the subject. The Ideal Bookshelf paintings are done in gouache and ink on watercolor paper. You pick your 10 favorite books, the ones that made you who you are today, and send Jane a list or photos of their spines. She will create an unframed 11x14" painting for you of the book spines together -- a portrait of who you are from the inside. You will also receive a signed copy of My Ideal Bookshelf, a collection of ideal bookshelf paintings of more than one hundred leading cultural figures.
Special Instructions
If you live outside the Crocker Highlands area, any items you win will be shipped to you after March 8, 2015. Bidder is responsible for Shipping and Handling fees, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Items will be shipped via USPS and billed at standard industry rates.
