We will meet to discuss your specific needs that can range from a rough Master Sketch to a written program that would focus the design and management of the garden or even a specific planted garden area that could include final layouts and planting schedule. We can also access current land management practices and provide written recommendations . Having grown up in the nursery industry and founding my own company in 1993, we feel strongly in the value we provide.

At Donald Pell Gardens our inspiration is derived from the New American Garden style which looks to connect gardens with the greater regional landscape. Our designs mirror Impressionistic examples of the American meadow and Eastern Forest. With great reverence for the wild garden, the American landscape informs our decisions about processes and beauty.

In partnering with clients we help them to realize value from a well planned garden utilizing sympathetic design as a way to restore harmony. Our designs consider function and circulation within space to achieve a sensuous experience with a composition that celebrates the evolving seasons.

We create immediate value, engineered through the seamless integration of space, soils and vegetation. External resources are used minimally in plantings by selecting appropriate materials that thrive on or off the given site. Bold masses of perennials bring powerful seasonal aesthetic. Structural features are integrated and crafted with timeless materials.
