As you walk in the room, you'll instantly experience a mix of style, comfort, and the unique design that made Josie Restaurant famous. On your left, you'll see a long counter for eating and drinking, and, on your right, cozy couches and tables for intimate gatherings with friends. Add to that an artisan cheese and charcuterie bar, contemporary and industrial elements, and subtle light from a cork-filled wall, and you have an idea of the ambiance. It's casual, yet sophisticated - the décor of Josie Restaurant has been described as "like your mother's living room, if you were allowed to sit on the furniture." Think of Next Door as the den.

But, what about the food? Next Door by Josie features some of the same great things as the original Josie - seasonal, Farmers Market-driven progressive American cuisine, attention to detail, and the same unparalleled creativity of Chef Josie Le Balch, all in a more casual and affordable format. On the menu, small plates and snacks share space with larger dishes ready for sharing.
