goods co-owners, Ivana Suvak and Katherine Inglis, grew up over 6,000 miles apart but share a similar aesthetic. After more than 15 years in Los Angeles, Ivana still brings the best of her European/Croatian heritage into everything she does. An LA native, Katherine appreciates what comes from afar. Blending their tastes and backgrounds proved easy. "We both appreciate fine craftsmanship —whether in a fragrance, a texture, or in the simple functionality of a design."

For years, Ivana imported goods from Europe and Central Asia, Katherine from her sister-in-law's collective in South America. Soon after meeting at their daughters' elementary school, they decided to leave their wholesale businesses behind and created 
goods, a tiny, colorful and fragrant shop within walking distance of their homes.

"
goods is a modern-day 'mom-and-pop' shop," said one customer. "They believe that supporting the artisan and the environment matters. Their customers want to surround themselves with handmade, fair trade, organic goods whenever possible. The 'goods' they carry are unique and, in most cases, can't be found anywhere else."

With the launch of this website, Ivana and Katherine hope to extend their reach beyond Santa Monica and invite others to explore their carefully curated collection.
