The Goblikins don't know how they came to be in the foreset, or what happened to their parents. They awoke to find themselves changed - no longer children, or even completely human. Banding together to survive the Dark Forest, they must use their new animal traits to uncover a way to return to their families. 

Ravenna is the oldest and knows the forest best, from which mushrooms aren't poisonous, to how to make a tea that heals the damp cough. She can always pull something from the bushes that the Goblinkins need.
