Enjoy a relaxing week away at the McKee family’s newly renovated Cape Cod beach house! Our little cape house is just 700 yards from Earle Road beach, easy walking distance even with arms full of beach toys and kids! The main house can sleep 8 adults and 2-4 kids comfortably with 2 Queen bedrooms, a full-size sleep sofa and bathroom on the main level and 2 full beds, crib and a full-size futon on the 2nd level. The house features new hardwood floors, central air conditioning, a brand new kitchen with stainless steel appliances, washer & dryer, and a brand new outdoor shower adjacent to the garage. Since our young family uses the house all the time, it is fully stocked with sheets, towels, baby tub, toys, beach towels, beach bags, beach toys, jogging stroller, wagon, and lawn toys. We also have a grill and a patio with outdoor furniture that can be used for leisurely backyard cook-outs. 

Please note, there are 2 houses on the property – the front house and a small cottage in the back. This donation includes both houses! The cottage sleeps an additional 6 comfortably – there is 1 Queen bedroom, 1 twin bedroom with a trundle bed, and 1 queen sleep sofa. The cottage also has a full bathroom and a brand new outdoor shower. The cottage makes for a good “in-law” quarters or even room for another small family to join you on your summer adventure! There are 2 driveways so plenty of room for cars. The houses share a yard.

Harwich is a great family-friendly town with 2 ports, lots of restaurants & ice cream parlors, parks and great beaches for the entire family to enjoy! If a day-long adventure suits your family, the ferry to Nantucket is just across the road, and Harwich is also within short driving distance of other popular Cape towns including Chatham (about 20 minutes) and Provincetown (about 40 minutes). We find that our summer days at the cape are mostly spent just down the street at our Earle Road beach, but rest assured that if your family is seeking more activities there is tons to do nearby!

Typical cape rentals run from Saturday-Saturday. We are flexible, and will work out the details of the exact week and dates with the family who has the winning bid!
