Tamales for everybody!

Join CLWS parent, Emilia Gonzalez Avalos, and parent and teaching assistant, Jenny Nelson, in Miss Jenny's home for some tamale prep, cooking, and devouring! Emilia will guide guests in making tamales rojos y verdes from scratch. Learn how to work the dough, incorporate ingredients, cook red pork salsa and green chicken salsa for the fillings and wrapped the corn husk.  We will be making about 150 tamales to share and take home. Enjoy some great conversation while learning a new cooking skill!
