Thomas began his career in professional portraiture over thirty years ago.  His love for photography dates back even to childhood.  As a teenager, he worked as a photographer for the local weekly newspaper.  After graduating from college with a degree in literature, he returned to his love of photography and became a portraitist.  Most professional portraits of the day were studio work, but Thomas began to specialize in environmental portraiture, taking his camera to his clients’ favorite locations. A few years ago, he moved from his native Texas to Maine, trading the prairie for the beach. He now travels to about thirty states each year creating his unique, award-winning portraits for families like yours.
