"A few months ago I had a dream....
I dreamt that I was up on the Third Mesa walking to Tuba City. I was hot, tired and thirsty. I sat down beside the road wishing for a cool drink of water.
I heard a noise behind me and turned to see my friend Nayehiha Adelvdiyatlodi. She offered me a bottle of water and I gladly accepted and drank my fill. It was the coolest and freshest water I had ever tasted.
I went to return the bottle to her and she was gone, in her place I saw a Raven flying off.
Some time later I went back into the dream to seek its meaning. This time I paid close attention to all the details that I had missed during the original dream.
This is the gourd water bottle that my friend offered me.
I found it so beautiful I had to create it.
It measures over 8 1/2 inches high and is 21 1/2 inches around. It shows four lizards in different poses and with different markings on their backs. I stained the gourd then rubbed it to make it appear old and used. It has a wooden stopper in the top.
As for the meaning of the dream ....
I shall keep that to myself"
