Bows and arrows made by Victor Kuhn
Bow: Ash wood, elk bone tip overlays, elk sinew, coated with buffalo fat; bow string made from flax fiber
Arrows: River cane shaft, osage orange foreshaft, wild plum knocks, wild geese fletching, animal sinew and arrowheads made of wood, steel, antelope bone and stone.
Bow and arrows are made in Southeast Native American style. This set is fully functional, though it is meant for display (the arrows are very delicate). Four different types of arrow points represent the different styles used throughout the Southeast, with metal being used after contact with Europeans.
If you are not experienced with traditional archery, call 303-217-6265 before stringing or shooting this bow. A set of target practice arrows can be made to fit this bow.
