The Refinement Studio offers a Young Gentlemans USS Constitution Tea Nautical Tea & Etiquette lesson for children ages 5 years to 12 years. Add a little refinement to the life of your young gentleman (or gentleman in training) with this fun and educational Nautical Tea!

All teas are served on bone china, silverware, crystal and linens. In addition, each party includes dress up essentials, a picture on a nautical background, etiquette study booklet and 2 hours of etiquette instruction. There was a time when social etiquette was an integral part of schools core curriculum. Sadly, that is no longer the case. Cynthia L.S. Ely, is determined to fill that void. Fueled by her deep faith in God and the good inheritance her parents bequeathed her respect for others, receptiveness to multi-culturalism, appreciation of the arts, and emphasis on experiential as well as book learning Ms. Ely founded The Refinement Studio, a welcoming, interactive setting within which people of all ages can learn how to navigate social interactions with grace and polish.

A graduate of Hampton University, she holds a degree in English Arts and has completed graduate-level studies in Management and Organization Development at the Rochester Institute of Technology. A classical music devotee, Ms. Ely studied trumpet at the Eastman School of Music and completed classes in clay, sketching and photography at the Memorial Art Gallery.
