Description

One fortunate bidder and four friends will be treated to an in-depth, behind-the-scenes tour of the intriguing objects in the Museum’s permanent collection in the Museum’s collections storage areas.

With more than 35,000 objects in the collection, most Museum visitors never see many of the treasures that are kept in storage and out-of-sight when not included in one of the exhibitions. The permanent collection includes objects from the disciplines of art, history, and natural science. The tour will be led by Maria Mingalone,Berkshire Museum’s director of interpretation.

Berkshire Museum, located in Pittsfield, MA offers a unique array of exhibitions, activities, and attractions for visitors of all ages. From fine art and ancient objects to fossils; from an aquarium of native and exotic creatures to the Feigenbaum Hall of Innovation, we are a community museum: a place where everyone, from toddlers to elders, can learn, play, explore, innovate, be engaged and inspired.

Special Instructions
