Description
Learn to row with a one hour private sculling lesson with Berkshire Sculling & Rowing Society. The participant will have a private lesson in a single rowing shell suitable for their ability. Sculling is rowing using two oars and sitting on a sliding seat; legs, arms and back are used to move the boat through the water.
BRASS (Berkshire Sculling and Rowing Society) is a 501C3 organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of recreational and competitive rowing, with the focus toward education and camaradaerie of the sport.
Special Instructions
The lesson will take place on Onota Lake, Pittsfield. Our boathouse is on the shore in Burbank Park. Lesson is available 6am - 10am June through August. Winner must contact BRASS boathouse at 413.442.7769 to make an appointment. Good for 2015 season only.
