Currently celebrating its 60th anniversary - there are several special events planned for 2015 and 2016 within the park to celebrate the momentous Diamond Anniversary. The celebrations will begin May 22, 2015, and run for at least twelve months. May 22 will also mark the 24-hour event, where guests can stay in the park for a solid 24 hours. The updates will include an updated World of Color water show, "Paint the Night" electric parade, and a new fireworks show, "Disneyland Forever."
