Hawaiian culture has a deep connection to the ocean. Hawaiians used to use fishhooks to get food. Today, a fishhook necklace is used to represent strength, prosperity and good luck.This is a sterling silver Hawaiian hook pendant inlaid with curly Koa wood, a tree endemic to Hawaii. It is on a 18" leather cord.
