Description

A sepia photo taken at Kahului Bay, North Kona, Hawaii of a whaling boat landing on the beach with many people on shore with trunks, horses, and dogs. In the distance is the stone and mortar home of Queen Emma's father, Dr. Rooke, set in the midst of a coconut grove. It is printed with archival ink on rag-quality paper that measures 11"x14".
