"Up North at The Cabin"

 

A two-night stay at iconic Up-north cabin on Silver Lake, near the town of Battle Lake, MN, (SE of Fergus Falls).  Simple, rustic 1940's vintage cabin is two bedroom: double bed and bunk bed that sleeps 3, with extra room on the couch.  Simple kitchen with basic cooking equipment.  Indoor plumbing, electric lights, gas heater and wood stove.  Use of a charcoal grill, fishing dock and canoe included.  Silver Lake provides pretty good panfish and bass fishing. Visit nearby town of Battle Lake for kid's turtle races, Grannie's Ice Cream Parlor, the What-Not Shop, and more.  Also, don't miss visiting beautiful Glendalough State Park with hiking/biking trails, pristine State Heritage Lake for swimming, canoeing, fishing, and great naturalist programs.
