This rain barrel was designed, painted and signed by Goshen artist Mark Daniels. (You are bidding on one rain barrel; the photo shows three sides of it).

Rain barrels help homeowners reduce the amount of stormwater runoff from their property.  Every gallon of water that is saved in a rain barrel to water plants at a later date is a gallon of water that does not rush to a storm drain, river, or stream during or immediately following a storm.

Reducing stormwater runoff helps to reduce the number of pollutants in our rivers and streams, and also helps to reduce flooding.  The gradual infiltration of water into the ground also recharges our groundwater supply which supplies all drinking water in our area.
