P. Buckley Moss (b. 1933) is one of America's most prized living artists. An alumna of New York's prestigious Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, Pat Moss is a formally educated and accomplished artist, highly regarded by academics and collectors alike. Her art is represented in over 200 galleries worldwide.

In 1964, her husband's work took the family to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, where Ms. Moss came to know the Amish and Mennonite people who live in the Valley.  Much impressed by their ethics of hard work, integrity and their love of family and the land, Ms. Moss started to incorporate these people into her Valley paintings. http://www.pbuckleymoss.com/
