Artist Statement: Sculpture has revealed a wonderful passionate energy—be it stone, wood, or clay. The joy of creativity is compelling...to free what is confined is liberating and exciting.
Artist Biography: Em Marquis Brown studied at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; DeCordova Museum School; Studio Nicoli in Carrara, Italy; and the Horsin’ Around Studio in Chattanooga, TN. She also self-studied in France. She is a member of the Rockport Art Association, North Shore Arts Association, and Marblehead Arts Association, and is an awarded Copley Master of the Copley Society of Boston.
Em has had many one-person exhibitions, and her work is represented in many private collections in the USA, Europe, and Japan. She has received awards for her paintings and sculptures from the Rockport Art Association, North Shore Arts Association, Marblehead Arts Association, and Marblehead Festival of Arts.
Hosting Business: "Forever Faithful" is on display at Pawsitively Marblehead, 52 Atlantic Ave., Marblehead, MA.

Winning bidder will receive a notification email with information on pick-up time and location.
If winning bidder requires shipping, winner's credit card will be charged a separate $24.95 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
Any cod purchased via "Buy Now" will remain on display at the hosting business through the end of the auction, and will be available for pick-up as detailed in the winning bidder notification email.
If winning bidder has not picked up cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
