Calling all skaters! Sign up to be one of four that receive skating lessons from Marc Hollander, a rider of the original Sims Pure Juice team! Whether you're just beginning or have years of experience, you'll have a blast skating and learning with Marc at the Walnut Creek Skate Park. On Saturday, May 30 participants should be dropped off at the Oakland home of EBIA mom Jakki Lynch at 1pm. Jakki and Marc will shuttle the group to Walnut Creek for a 2 hour lesson. The crew will arrive back in Oakland by 5pm for pick up. Healthy snacks will be provided! Each participant should bring their board, a water bottle plus a helmet and any pads (knee, wrist, elbow.) They must wear appropriate skate shoes - no sandals, flip flops, running shoes or boots. Marc will monitor for safety within the skateboard safety etiquette. The skating will be at own risk as stated at every skatepark.
