The 39 Steps

October 1-3 & 8-10 @ 7:30PM

October 3 & 11 @ 2PM

The 39 Steps is the two-time Tony Award-winning hit comedic spoof of the classic 1935 film, with only 6 actors portraying more than 150 characters, sometimes changing roles in the blink of an eye. The brilliantly madcap story follows the dashing hero Richard Hannay as he races to solve the mystery of The 39 Steps, all the while trying to clear his name! The show’s uproarious fast-paced 100 minutes promises to leave you gasping for breath… in a good way!

Ben Brantley of the New York Times calls it "Absurdly Enjoyable".

Marat/Sade

November 5-7 & 12-14 @7:30PM

November 7 & 15 @ 2PM

This extraordinary play is based on two historical truths: the infamous Marquis de Sade was confined in the lunatic asylum of Charenton, where he staged plays; and the revolutionary Jean-Paul Marat was stabbed in a bathtub by Charlotte Corday at the height of the Terror during the French Revolution. But this play-within-a-play is not historical drama. All the forces and elements possible to the stage are fused in one overwhelming experience. This is theatre such as has rarely been seen before. The play is basically concerned with the problem of revolution. Are the same things true for the masses and for their leaders? And where, in modern times, lie the borderlines of sanity?

Noises Off

February 24-28 @ 7:30PM

February 27 & 28 @ 2PM

Called the funniest farce ever written, Noises Off presents a manic menagerie as a cast of itinerant actors rehearsing a flop called Nothing's On. Doors slamming, on and offstage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure in the plot of this hilarious and classically comic play.

"As side-splitting a farce as I have seen. Ever? Ever." - The New York Magazine
