Our teachers can bring the party to your special venue or right to your front door. A living room, dining room, or playroom with the furniture moved back would be as perfect as a backyard or outdoor venue space.

Ms. Kathleen, founder of Kaufman Acadamy of Dance, created Ballerina Birthdays because she always wanted to have a ballet-themed birthday party!

The structure of the Ballerina Birthday party, based upon the Leap 'N Learn curriculum developed by master ballet teacher Beverly Spell and expert child psychologist Dr. Annie Spell, combines the healthiest practices for teaching children beginner ballet technique, while simultaneously encouraging creativity and development of motor, cognitive and social skills through imaginative, pretend play. In addition to being a certified Leap ’N Learn instructor, MS. Kathleen holds a degree in Dance from UC Irvine. She has combined her extensive training with years of being a professional dancer and teacher of various forms of movement to create a way for every child to be a ballerina on their special day! Ms. Kathleen custom designs each Ballerina Birthday class curriculum so that it is appropriate for the age and developmental level of your child and is always tons of twirly, giggling fun!
