Ned, one of Helping Hands' recipients (Monkey Helper, Kasey, is always by his side!) suffered a life-altering, severe spinal cord and brain injury 10 years ago. Against all odds, Ned has made incredible progress - he can breathe on his own, talk, kick out his feet, move his arms and has recently even begun to paint. He and Kaey created this piece specifically for Festivale this year.

Even though each brush stroke is a huge challenge, Ned hopes that these canvases, one made by Kasey, the other by Ned, will inspire everyone to never give up!
