Jean D'Ylen was an illustrator and poster artist at the turn-of-the-century in France. His work is reminiscent of Cappiello's with its often-surreal imagery and brilliant colors. He was contracted by the printing house Vercasson from 1922-1934 where he produced over 200 posters.
