For more than 40 years, Kamehachi has been perfecting the art of making sushi. And today, the values and traditions established at ‘Chicago's First Sushi Restaurant' are as strong as ever. Over the years, Kamehachi has grown and expanded its delectable menu as well as its city and suburban locations. Grilled seafood, steaks, salads and a variety of new maki and sashimi offerings are sure to please sushi aficionados as well as those who prefer more traditional cooked fare.
Kamehachi came to the States from Japan through distant relatives who once owned restaurants in New York City. In 1967, Mrs. Marion Konishi opened Kamehachi in its famous Old Town spot across from Second City, where many locals and celebrities had their first sushi experiences. Kamehachi's current owners, Sharon Perazzoli and Giulia Sindler (Marion's daughter and granddaughter), have since grown the family-owned business with locations in Northbrook, Streeterville, the Loop (Chicago) and River North (Chicago).

Trusted help to find a great sitter. Winner will pay the sitter directly at the time of service. Our recommended hourly rates for all babysitters starts at $12.
K Grace services are designed to help parents with occasional needs, set recurring schedules (from one or two date nights a month to 30 hours per week), and/or temporary nanny needs. Since 2002, they have placed knowledgeable childcare providers that not only excel in energetic, creative, one-on-one interaction with your children, but also work to go above and beyond. Professional licensing, dedication to screening procedures, high referral standards, and a focus on providing flexible, quality childcare allow urban families convenience and peace of mind.
Single placements are great options for backup childcare or to experience the quality and ease that K Grace provides. This is good for a single placement only, however we would credit the single placement towards monthly placement fees if the winner was interested in continuing services. Application and paperwork must be completed prior to first placement. Babysitter is paid directly at the end of each placement.
