You might ask, what is orthodontics and is this something I should be interested in? I am happy to answer these questions. Orthodontics is a special field of dentistry that focuses on the precise alignment of the teeth and jaws for balanced facial harmony. We suggest that children, as early as age seven visit the orthodontist for an early evaluation. Early diagnosis and treatment helps to guide a child’s facial growth and can often produce results not possible after the jaws and face have finished growing. Of course, you are never too old for braces and we now have cosmetic appliances that are barely noticeable, if at all.

For those of you who have insurance, our office works with all traditional plans (i.e. any plan that does not require referral from the general dentist) and the benefits as determined by the insurance plan will be directed to you. Please note that orthodontic insurance is typically a one-time/lifetime benefit and is reimbursed in payments over the duration of treatment.
