Description
Two-hour dinghy sail on the Delaware River for you and a guest with the New Castle Sailing Club Commodore in a 17 foot Thistle or a 19 foot Flying Scot.
Sail will depart from Battery Park in Old New Castle, home to Kalmar Nyckel's first Captain, David Hiott. Sail along the Delaware where the Kalmar Nyckel fires her guns to salute New Castle, sailing, and a port near and dear to Kalmar Nyckel and her crew.
Special Instructions
Parking is included.
Must wear life vest in accordance with Delaware regulations. Club can provide one if needed.
Sailing season is May 1- Oct 31. Appointment can be made in 2015 or 2016. Appointment arranged at mutual convenience and depending on weather conditions.
