Lesley Galton (16th September 1940 - 18th July 2015) was an artist who was passionate about all wildlife, but the big cats always held a special place in her heart.

Inspired by India and its rich wildlife, she adored and enjoyed many journeys there to admire, photograph, paint and draw. This picture of this amazing tiger was born from one such experience in the beautiful country.

Created using graphite pencils, this truly is an extraordinary piece of artwork!

Passionate to use her art to make a difference to the lives of wildlife, she was so excited about this auction. She insisted that this beautiful piece be included as a limited edition, and so it is in honoring her wishes that this piece is being offered as a giclee print.
