Montgomery Theater is a uniquely intimate, non-profit theatrical enterprise dedicated to bringing new life to old tales and giving age and wisdom to new ones. Our mission is to serve the play by telling the story well, serve the artists by fulfilling their creative passions, and serve the audience by challenging and entertaining them.

The structure that houses Montgomery Theater in Southeastern Pennsylvania was once the old Souderton firehouse. This "turn of the century" building was bought by the Souderton Borough in order to secure that Montgomery Theater stays in the center of town, thus spearheading revitalization of the Souderton-Telford Communities.

Montgomery Theater has presented over seventy productions mixing original, classical, musical and performance art style of presentations into their blend of theatrical events. The lower level space, renamed the "Project Stage," will continue as a performance area designed for alternative and experimental theater, educational theater and children's theater. The top floor of the building has also been renovated in order to provide the theater with office space, alternative rehearsal space, costume and props storage, as well as green room and dressing room facilities.
