The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes is a unique, year-round environmental education and preservation oasis in northeast Ohio's urban landscape. Its goals have remained consistent yet simple: to teach environmental education and to preserve the area's important natural habitats.

The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes is surrounded by eight miles of wooded hillsides, marshlands and gardens along the Doan Brook and Shaker Lakes.
