The most interesting part is the cover which was carved from 21 different pieces of wood with different thickness and glued together on a wood base to form a Papillon Dog. An important part is a piece of wood which was carved in bone-shape to make the key for this puzzle box; the length of the key is almost the thickness of the puzzle box. When you first look at this Papillon Dog item, it's hard to tell that it is a box! In order to open the box, you need to find the key which is usually on the edge of the item. Slide the key up; slide the cover to left or right; open the lid and there's your hidden things. This puzzle box is a decorative item that also can be used to hide small things like valuable jewelry or keys.
