Anne Bridge’s art career began as a fashion illustrator, but she soon transitioned into a successful fine artist. Anne was among a select group of artists featured in the "Peppertree Ranch Invitational Art Show" in Santa Ynez California, each summer for twelve years.  She currently resides in Foxboro Massachusetts, and is represented by J.Todd Galleries in Wellesley Massachusetts, Chatham Fine Art in Cape Cod, the Judith Hale Gallery in Solvang California, and the Rockport Art Association.

I LOVE flowers.  Years ago, I devoted a lot of time to growing huge flower gardens (including over 12 different varieties of roses). They became so time consuming to maintain, that I decided it would be wiser to let other people grow them, and I'd just stick to painting them! I fashioned this floral arrangement, added some artificial accents to fill it out.  While searching for more items to complete the composition, I found some old antique books, one of which was my old childhood red leather bible, hence the title "Heart and Soul" seemed to describe it perfectly for me.
